Board of School Education, Bhiwani and Department of Educatin, Haryana ultimately finalize the date of Haryana Teacher Eligibility Test 2013-14. It is a good news for those candidates who are looking for Haryana Teacher Eligibility Test 2013-14. The HTET 2013-14 Examination will be held on 1st and 2nd February, 2014 in two session on various examination centres across the state.
On the other hand there is no good news for SC/ST/PH candidates. Those candidates who took benefit of 5% exemption in minimum qualification, Now the can take only 2.5 exemption for the same.
As per the new rules, SC/ST/PH candidates must required 47.5% marks to apply for HTET 2013-14 instead of 45% marks.
The board also included Fine Art, Music & Computer Science subjects in PGT Category and Art & Music in TGT Category for HTET 2013-14.
HTET likely to be held twice in 2014
As per the National Council For Teacher Education (NCTE) rules, The state government must hold Teacher Eligibility Test on annual basis. The board unable to organize the HTET in year 2012. That’s why the HTET likely to be held twice in 2014.
The result of HTET June, 2013 was absolutely poor. 95.55% candidates did not qualify the eligibility test. It was the poorest result in HTET history. One can compare the current HTET result to previous exams from following table.
