Staff Selection Commission (SSC) is
going to conduct Junior Engineer (Civil, Mechanical
Electrical) Examination 2014 on
25.05.2014 Sunday). It is combined all India based open
examination recruitment of Junior
Engineer in the various Disciplines ie Mechanical, Civil
and Electrical. Those desired
candidates who fulfil all conditions and criteria of the
examination; they may apply for the
same through official website.
Minimum Qualifications:
1. Junior Engineer (Civil &
Electrical), CPWD: Diploma in Civil or Electrical or
Mechanical Engineering from an
institution recognized by the Central Government or
equivalent qualification.
2. Junior Engineer (Civil &
Electrical), Department of Posts: Three
years
Diploma or equivalent in Civil
Engineering or Electrical Engineering from an institution
recognized by the Central
Government or State Government.

a. Junior Engineer (Civil), MES : Degree in
Civil Engineering or Three
years Diploma in Civil
Engineering with two years experience in
Planning
execution and Maintenance of Civil
Engineering works.
b. Junior Engineer (Electrical &
Mechanical), MES: Degree in Electrical or
Mechanical Engineering or Three years diploma in Electrical or
Mechanical
Engineering with Two years experience in Planning,
Execution and Maintenance
of Electrical or Mechanical
Engineering works.
c. Junior Engineer(QS&C) MES : 3 years
Diploma in Civil engineering and
Passed Intermediate examination in
Building and Quantity Surveying Sub Div. II
of the institute of
Surveyors(India).
4. Junior Engineer (Civil &
Mechanical), CWC and Farakka Barrage: Degree or
Diploma in Civil or Mechanical
Engineering from a recognised University or Institution
Scheme of Examination:
The examination will be conducted
in two stages:
A. Written Test (500 marks)
B. Interview ( 100 marks)
Application Fees: The candidates
submitting their applications on-line should pay the
requisite fee Rs. 100/- only through State Bank of India
either in the form of Challan or
through SBI net banking. Women
candidates and candidates belonging to Scheduled
Caste, and Scheduled Tribes are
exempted from paying fee.
